Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website and coaching services offered by Abundant Life Wellness Coaching Centre ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing our website, booking or participating in coaching services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

Services and Eligibility

We provide life coaching, leadership coaching, ministry coaching, team coaching, relationship coaching, and related services ("Services"). Services are educational and coaching in nature and are not a substitute for professional medical, psychiatric, legal, or financial advice.
You must be at least 18 years old to receive Services. We do not provide services to minors.
You are responsible for ensuring the Services are appropriate for your needs. If you have concerns about mental health or safety, consult a qualified professional.

Booking, Scheduling and, Third-Party Tools

Appointments are booked through Calendly. By booking, you authorize us to use the scheduling information you provide to arrange Services.
Forms and intake information are collected via Jotform. Coaching notes are stored digitally.
Payments are processed via Square. Square may store billing and payment information according to its terms and privacy practices. We do not store full payment card numbers.
Analytics and site tracking may use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and Hotjar to improve the site and Services. Use of these tools is subject to their respective terms and our Privacy Policy.

Fees, Payments, and Refunds

Service fees, session lengths, and package pricing are published on our site or provided during booking. Rates may vary and are subject to change.
Payment is due as specified at booking. We accept payments through Square and any other methods we list on the site.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, prepaid packages and sessions are non‑refundable. If you believe a refund is warranted, contact us and we will review your request.
You are responsible for any taxes, fees, or charges applicable to your purchase.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

We require the notice period specified at booking for cancellations or rescheduling. If you cancel or reschedule within the notice window described at booking, you may forfeit the session fee or be charged a cancellation fee.
Missed appointments without prior notice may be charged at the full session rate.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to coach illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances and will make reasonable efforts to offer an alternative time or refund where appropriate.

Client Responsibilities, Conduct, and Safety

You agree to participate in sessions honestly and to the best of your ability. You are responsible for implementing decisions and actions discussed in coaching.
You will not hold us responsible for your choices, actions, or outcomes resulting from coaching.
Harassment, abuse, threats, or illegal activity directed at our staff or other clients will not be tolerated. We may terminate Services immediately for such behavior without refund.
If health or safety concerns arise during coaching, we may pause or terminate Services and recommend appropriate professional care.

Confidentiality and Privacy

We treat client information as confidential and protect it in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Exceptions to confidentiality include legal obligations, risk of harm to self or others, or where disclosure is required to protect rights or safety.
Client data is stored in Canada. Only the designated coach has access to client records.
We retain client records for up to seven (7) years from the date of the last visit, unless otherwise required by law.

Intellectual Property

All content on the website, including text, images, logos, materials, and resources provided in sessions, is our intellectual property or used with permission. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without written permission.
You are granted a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable right to use materials we provide for your personal, noncommercial use during and after the coaching relationship.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Coaching is intended for personal and professional development. We do not provide medical, mental health, legal, or financial advice. If such advice is required, seek a qualified professional.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Abundant Life Wellness Coaching Centre, its coaches, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services or reliance on information provided.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim related to these Terms or the Services will not exceed the total fees paid by you to us in the six (6) months preceding the claim.

Termination

Either party may terminate the coaching relationship at any time by providing notice. Termination does not relieve you of any outstanding payment obligations.
We may suspend or terminate Services immediately if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct we reasonably deem harmful.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
For disputes that cannot be resolved informally, parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing other remedies. Nothing prevents either party from seeking urgent equitable relief where appropriate.

Changes to Term

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page will be revised. Continued use of Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Severability and Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
Failure to enforce a right under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.
